Nottingham Forest will be hoping to end this season on a high for more than one reason.

As things stand, the Reds' Championship status is still not yet secure, and with teams below them having games in hand, they will be keen to put that bed as soon as possible.

But Forest will also be looking to end their season strongly so that they can gather momentum ahead of next season.

This summer, Chris Hughton will be looking to properly rebuild and tweak his squad. He did have a full month of January to add players to his squad, but most of the work was done in the summer when Sabri Lamouchi brought in 13 players.

There will be players who will be looking to leave the club this summer, though, with first-team opportunities few and far between for some this season.

Here, we take a look at two players who will surely have one eye on the exit door heading into the summer...

Fouad Bachirou

Bachirou has endured a tough time since arriving at the City Ground from Swedish side Malmo FF in the summer.

The Comoros midfielder has been battling with a hamstring injury for large parts of this season, limiting him to only three appearances in all competitions.

In fact, Bachirou has made only one Championship appearance this season, which came as a late substitute against Barnsley.

The 30-year-old has recently been linked with Norwegian side Rosenborg, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him leave this summer.

Lyle Taylor

This may be a surprising one, but Taylor cannot be too happy with the amount of game time he is currently receiving at Forest.

The 30-year-old was a marquee signing when he joined on a free transfer in the summer, on the back of scoring 11 goals for Charlton Athletic last term.

But the striker has struggled for regular game time this season. He may have made 36 appearances in all competitions, but only 13 of his league outings have been starts.

At the moment, Glenn Murray and Lewis Grabban are battling it out for a place in Hughton's side, but Taylor is third-choice striker.

It may be quite rash for him to want to leave this summer, but as he approaches the age of 31, he will surely consider his options at this rate.
