Nottingham Forest haven't exactly got off to the lightning quick start many expected them to get off to this season.

A bit of inconsistency has meant the wins have not been quite as regular as some Reds fans would have hoped for following a summer of heavy investment, and manager Aitor Karanka will no doubt be keen to put a good run together between now and Christmas.

The Reds will no doubt give it a good go once again in January if the players are available to go out and buy, but with a heavy looking squad already, any incomings will no doubt have to be compensated by the club moving some players on.

With so many talented players within the ranks, there's always bound to be those who get moved on due to lack of game time or other commitments, and we at FLW think that Forest will indeed move a couple on come January.

With that in mind, we've taken a look at TWO Forest players who could find themselves moved on come January...

Liam Bridcutt

The former Leeds United midfielder has found himself out of the picture somewhat this season, and a move in January could definitely be on the cards.

It's not for lack of ability with Bridcutt, it just appears Karanka fancies other options more.

Plenty of clubs would take Bridcutt in the second tier, and it would be of little surprise to see the midfielder make a move in the winter window.

Ryan Yates

The midfielder has not managed to break into the first team as many expected he might have done this season, and the January window could well see the youngster finally make his move away from the club.

Yates impressed down in League One last season and there would be no doubt a host of clubs willing to give him a chance if he is availble. Unfortunatley, he just appears to have been left behind by the talent on show at the City Ground.
