With the games not getting any easier, alongside sitting one point away from the relegation zone, Forest fans can only hope that their side perform a major upset as Reading travel to the City Ground.

Forest have found capturing three points this season very hard to come by, only managing 12 wins out of the 43 games played and sit only one point away from the relegation zone.

Therefore, a loss or even a draw against Reading tomorrow, with other results going against them, could see them drop into the danger zone.

As well as, coming off the back of two consecutive losses against Blackburn and Cardiff respectively, Forest don't look in the best form going into this fixture.

If Forest are to cause an upset, neutrals will be less surprised, knowing that 10 out of Forest's 12 wins this season have come on home soil, including huge wins against Brighton and Huddersfield.

Reds boss Mark Warburton still has a huge job on his hands, and will definitely require so major tactical changes and maybe a few unlikely faces in his team if they are to pull away from Reading with three points.

With that in mind, here are TWO Nottingham Forest fringe players who deserve who deserved to be involved against Reading at the weekend...

Aaron Tshibola

Aaron Tshibola arrived on-loan from Aston Villa this January after failing to make an impression at Villa Park, since his transfer from Reading last summer.

Only making four appearances so far in a Forest shirt, Tshibola is yet to make an impression on the Reds' fans, although he has showed glimpses of what he offered Reading back in 2016.

The 22-year-old's last appearance came in the Reds' impressive 2-0 win over Huddersfield, where he came on as a sub for Zach Clough and helped Forest hold out the 2-0 win.

Tshibola definitely should be handed a chance, given he used to be a key player is Reading's setup, therefore may be able to capitalise on Reading's weaknesses better than any other player.

Regardless, the young midfielder's talent is incredible and after having such a poor season to his standards will be looking to redeem himself with a few lasting performances to put his name back on the mark.

Gboly Ariyibi

Another young midfielder signed by Forest this January, but in Ariyibi's case on a permanent basis, he is yet to shine in Reds' colours.

In fact, since his transfer from League One outfit Chesterfield, he hasn't made a single appearance for Forest's first team.

The American winger, has a lot to offer including blistering pace, dynamic skill and unbelievable strength, which he constantly exploited during his time at Chesterfield, leaving Reds' fans to wonder why he hasn't been given a chance yet.

However, Warburton's team would definitely benefit from the 22-year-old's different style of play, and maybe confuse Reading's strategy as they will most definitely not expect what Ariyibi has to offer.
