Martin O'Neill has done a good job since he arrived at the City Ground, with the Reds firmly in the mix for a top six finish.

The former Celtic boss followed on from Aitor Karanka in the sense that the team remain hard to beat and he has picked up some very good results.

However, a run of one win in four games represents a mini-wobble and O'Neill will be aware that his side need to kick-on for the run-in.

The one positive for Forest though is that they have a reasonable fixture list so stringing together a sequence of wins does seem possible.

Although, there are still some issues that need to be addressed and here we look at TWO decisions that require a big call from the manager...

What to do with Joao Carvalho

The club-record signing clearly has plenty of ability but he hasn't established himself as a regular under the new manager - much to the frustration of the fans.

But, this won't be able to go on like this for too much longer as Carvalho will expect to play.

Either O'Neill adapts the formation to fit in with the Portuguese or he may have to consider moving him on in the summer.

Picking a midfield moving forward

Another issue is central midfield for O'Neill, where Forest just have so many options.

There are around eight central midfielders all looking for three positions, with the likes of Liam Bridcutt and Claudio Yacob not in the squad most weeks.

With Adlene Guedioura, Pele, Ben Watson, Ryan Yates, Jack Colback and Ben Osborn also to choose from, it's quite remarkable.

O'Neill still hasn't really got his best trio in mind but needs to find a formula that works.
