Millwall have endured a frustrating start to the Championship campaign in Gary Rowett's first full season at The Den.

The Lions might have taken a respectable five points from their opening four league fixtures, but have found the net just three times and had their unbeaten started ended by Swansea on Saturday.

With Tottenham loanee Troy Parrott out injured, the Millwall boss could still add to his squad before Friday's domestic deadline, whilst one or two could be moved on from SE16.

Here, we identify TWO players who could leave Millwall before next week...

Do you know what shirt number each of these 14 Millwall players wear?

Jiri Skalak

There haven't been any concrete reports to suggest who Skalak could join, but NewsatDen revealed earlier this week that the Lions are actively tried to sell the Czech Republic international.

Skalak has scored just once in 34 Millwall appearances since making the switch from Brighton back in 2018 and hasn't been involved in any of their four league fixtures this term - with his only action coming in the EFL Cup against Cheltenham.

He could well remain at The Den past Friday's deadline, but Skalak is the most likely permanent departure at the club.

Ben Thompson

Thompson is looking for regular game-time, and South London Press reported on Friday morning that the midfielder wants to move out on loan.

But Thompson's short-term future depends on whether Rowett can bring in another central-midfielder.

Given his alliances to Millwall, it would most likely be a loan deal - with Portsmouth keen on re-signing the Lions academy product, according the Portsmouth News.
