Middlesbrough could have a distinctly different look ahead of the new season.

Neil Warnock's side have enjoyed a decent campaign this term in which they've kicked on and established themselves as a top half side in the Championship.

However next season mediocrity won't be tolerated.

Warnock has made no secret of his desire to strengthen the squad this summer and with numerous players out of contract it's likely that plenty of changes could be made.

But as well as the likes of Britt Assombalonga, Ashley Fletcher and loan men Neeskens Kebano, Marcus Bettinelli and Yannick Bolasie, there could be some fringe players who look to move on in search of more regular opportunities.

Here are two players who may want to leave this summer.

Hayden Coulson

The full-back has has a really frustrating season.

Coulson has started just five times for Neil Warnock's side with the pacey star struggling to prove himself as the natural choice at left-back or left-midfield.

There's no doubt that he's a talented player but with opportunities under Warnock seemingly limited it could mean that he's seen as a dispensable option.

Lewis Wing

The midfielder is surely a contender to move on.

Wing has started just three Championship matches for Neil Warnock's side this season before moving on to Rotherham United where he is currently really enjoying his football.

He won't be happy with playing a handful of games next term and if that looks likely to happen then there's a good chance that he could seek an opportunity to play elsewhere.
