Brighton & Hove Albion will be searching for a number of quality additions this summer as they look to survive their first season in the top flight in over thirty years

Chris Hughton's side have shown that they are good enough to win promotion in the second tier but can these players keep them up in the top flight?

The Seagulls have plenty of calibre in their current squad but they could do with acquiring one or two players from England's finest youth academy - Manchester United.

Chris Hughton is a wise manager and will definitely send scouts to watch any potential summer signings and won't change that philosophy ahead of the summer window.

I think another defender and midfielder could be vital for the south-coast outfit, and whilst experience would be key, I think youthfulness is also important if they aim to steer away from the relegation zone next season.

With that in mind, here are two Manchester United youngsters Brighton need to send scouts to watch as soon as possible.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah

Already having Premier League pedigree at the age of nineteen is an important factor for potential suitors and Timothy Fosu-Mensah won't be short of clubs chasing his signature in the summer.

The defensive midfielder, who can also fill in at right-back or centre-half, has made two appearances for Manchester United in the division and an additional four in the Europa League.

The Dutchman doesn't get much first-team action and if Brighton & Hove Albion want him as a loan arrival in the transfer window then they'll probably be able to land him if they can convince Mourinho that it's in everyone's best interests.

Axel Tuanzebe

The England under-20 international has made quite the impression at Old Trafford for the reserves but is yet to feature for the first-team in the league - his only match in a professional environment coming in the FA Cup win over Wigan Athletic.

Axel Tuanzebe is a promising defender and he will continue to progress if he can successfully gain minutes on the pitch in a competitive environment.

Of course, the 19-year-old is currently plying his trade in the second string and that means Chris Hughton will need to send scouts to watch the centre-back if they wish to pursue his signature.
