West Brom endured a catastrophic night at Elland Road as they were swept aside 4-0 by Leeds last night.

The Baggies never got going and were made to pay by an energetic performance from the Yorkshire side, who simply had too much in all areas for Darren Moore's men to cope with.

It was a performance which showed some serious cracks in the squad for Albion, and it made it two losses in consecutive weeks after last weekend's dismal 1-0 loss at home to Sheffield United.

Manager Moore will not be giving up though, and he will no doubt be hoping to see some sort of reaction from his players in the coming weeks as they look to keep their flailing promotion hopes alive.

We here at FLW think that there are a few things that Moore needs to sort out though if Albion are to even come close to challenging the top two, especially given the display we all witnessed last night.

With that, we've looked at TWO major issues Moore needs to address in the coming fixtures to improve Albion's chances...

Get some energy into the midfield

The midfield three of Rekeem Harper, Gareth Barry and Jake Livermore was simply overrun by Leeds last night, and it was an alarming display from the middle of the park for the Baggies.

Moore simply has to inject some energy into the midfield, and while Barry and Livermore have plenty of experience, they lack the ability to get about the pitch like they once did.

Harper is a talent, but again it might just be too much for him at the moment. It's a big call for Moore to make, but he must do something.

Sort out Dwight Gayle

The mystery surrounding Gayle's form could well be put down to him playing in wide areas, and this is something Moore needs to address and quickly.

On his day, Gayle is one of the finest strikers in the division who will get goals, but sticking him out wide is never going to suit his game.

If Albion and Moore want to see results, the playing Gayle in his preferred position needs to be something they do.
