Garry Monk will be switching and swapping his team around as he urgently searches to create that winning formula, which created a successful campaign over the last eight months.

Leeds United's season has fallen into disarray with just one victory in their previous five outings, and that came against Preston North End. This form has seen the club descend down the play-offs and now lie outside the top-six.

They have dropped points in recent weeks to promotion rivals Reading, which followed a fine run of form, but since then have only racked up the four points from a possible twelve.

Perhaps it's time for the manager to change the side around to give one or two faces the opportunity to impress and turn the team's fortunes around, as they search for a potential return to the top-flight.

With that in mind, here are TWO Leeds United fringe players who deserve to be involved against Burton Albion at the weekend....

Matt Grimes

Matt Grimes arrived on loan at Elland Road last summer from Swansea City and did play a fair bit in the first few months of the season, making his debut in the opening day 3-0 defeat to Queens Park Rangers.

In fact, the 21 year-old hasn't featured since the FA Cup defeat to Sutton United at the end of January. He clearly didn't impress Garry Monk in what was a severely changed squad on the day.

Grimes needs to be given the chance, even if he appears on the bench.

I would definitely present the midfielder with some minutes in the game against Burton Albion because he's young and willing to put in a shift to get Leeds' campaign back on track.

Tyler Denton

The left-back will be hoping to make a return from an injury by being involved in the trip to relegation-threatened Burton Albion on Saturday, as Charlie Taylor looks set to sit on the substitutes bench for the third consecutive match.

Tyler Denton is another player who has not played any minutes for the first-team since the cup loss nearly three months ago but having recovered from a problem with his knee, the youngster will demand himself to put a positive performance at the Pirelli.

Monk's team will benefit from a pair of fresh legs and a place in the matchday squad should await Denton at the weekend.
