Injuries are mounting up against Leeds United again, with Marcelo Bielsa without a number of first-team players.

Leeds are missing the likes of Patrick Bamford, Luke Ayling and Gaetano Berardi, whilst Izzy Brown is yet to feature since arriving on loan at Elland Road from Chelsea.

Brown arrived with an injury, with Leeds moving to secure the midfielder’s service despite knowing he was unlikely to be available until the New Year.

However, Brown’s recent social media activity has suggested he is now well on the road to recovery, with the 21-year-old replying to a supporter who asked if he was back kicking a ball yet.

The Chelsea loanee’s reply suggests that his return is not too far away, which is undoubtedly a boost for Leeds.

Here at FLW, we take a look at TWO players that will fear losing their place in the Leeds side when Brown returns…

Forshaw has recently got back into the starting XI, but Brown’s return will be a worry for him.

Brown offers more offensively than Forshaw, with the Chelsea loanee having a keen eye for goal.

It’s been a frustrating year for Forshaw, and although you can’t question his ability, he might find himself back down the pecking order when Brown returns.

There’s nobody to rival Saiz in Leeds’ squad right now, with the Spaniard a unique playmaker.

However, when Brown is fit, he will be seen as an alternative to Saiz in the No.10 role.

The former Huddersfield ace has the ability to bring what Saiz does from midfield but with more of a goal threat.
