Since arriving from Chelsea in the summer, on a season-long loan, Izzy Brown has been unable to play for Leeds due to injury.

The striker has been out for ten months through injury but completed his first 45 minutes in a Leeds shirt, playing the first half in the U23 match against Birmingham City on Friday afternoon.

Brown is still recovering from a long-term knee injury and has not played since he picked up the injury playing for Brighton in January.

But he has since made a return to action this past weekend, and there is scope for Marcelo Bielsa to include him this weekend against Bristol City.

It would be a risk if he were to feature, however, but with Brown upping his comeback from injury, barring any last minute hitches, he could be in line to make his Leeds debut in the coming weeks.

When that moment arrives, there will be a player dropping out the team to facilitate the inclusion of the Chelsea loanee.

With that said, once Brown is fit and ready to go, here are two Leeds players that will be looking nervously over their shoulder once he is available for first-team selection.

Tyler Roberts was a solid deputy to Kemer Roofe while he was out injured, and scored three goals in eight appearances.

But when Izzy Brown returns to the first-team and finally makes his debut, the Wales international should be worried about his future inclusion.

Roberts has played more than he might have had Patrick Bamford been fit or Brown, too.

So once one of them, namely the Chelsea loanee is available, Roberts could see himself fall down the pecking order.

Izzy Brown can play up front or in an advanced midfield role, and recently Samuel Saiz has seen his place in the starting XI come under threat and has had to make do with a place on the bench.

Once Brown is fit, Saiz's spell on the bench could be even more prolonged should the Chelsea loanee offer enough to Marcelo Bielsa that he is selected over the Spaniard.

Saiz should be worried about his immediate future at the club, regarding consistent starts as he is out of form spectacularly and Brown could be the man to keep him out the side even longer.
