West Brom were extremely frustrated as a late Lewis MacLeod header saw Brentford take a point at The Hawthorns last night.

Darren Moore's men were far superior in the opening 45 minutes but missed several clear chances.

It was a lot more even after the break, however, Albion took the lead through one of the star men this season - Harvey Barnes.

The on-loan Leicester youngster hit his eighth goal from what has been a very productive time in the West Midlands.

And, as our graphic shows, the 20-year-old is bringing a lot more to the team than just goals, with his dribbling and pace ensuring the Baggies can transition from defence into attack extremely quickly.

The Bees found that pace and direct style very difficult to deal with, as Barnes managed to complete four dribbles and also had four shots, including the left-footed effort that beat Dan Bentley.

As well as that, the England U21 international was also very good on the ball.

His 93% pass accuracy is superb for a player who is often picking up possession in the final third and therefore regularly under pressure.

Additionally, he wasn't just keeping the ball with simple passes, with two key contributions that helped the team.

Moore's men are the outstanding attacking side in the division and Barnes is crucial to that, with the youngster once again showing his ability last night.

The challenge for the player will be to maintain these high standards throughout the season as he looks to help Albion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
