Bristol City fell to defeat against West Bromwich Albion under the lights of the Hawthorns on Tuesday night.

Lee Johnson’s men were 3-0 down at half-time in what was a pitiful first-half performance.

The defeat ended the Robins' four game-winning run, having just conceded just once in their last quartet of fixtures.

The Baggies were on form against a City side left reeling with just half an hour gone and a mountain to climb.

Left-back Lloyd Kelly scored his first goal of the season to save a little bit of pride before Harvey Barnes made it 4-1 to the hosts.

The 19-year-old put in a performance that was way beyond his years, managing to score with his only shot on target.

During the 90 minutes on the pitch, the defender managed to complete dribble from the two he attempted.

He also amassed 76 touches of the ball which equated to 5.6 per cent of the total possession of the clash.

Kelly won two aerial duels during his second-half appearance - half of his four attempted, three being defensive and one when attacking.

The defender was able to complete 63 per cent of his passes of the 43 attempted, which meant 27 found their intended target. Two of which were also key passes in last night’s clash.

Three tackles were attempted, with two being successful, one was an interception and the other dispossessing his opponent, amassing a 67 per cent tackle success rate.

Kelly also completed two clearances.

It was a disappointing defeat for Bristol City, but boss Johnson would have been impressed with the performance of his left-back who has has been an impressive ever-present for the Robins this season.
