Kenny Jackett's Portsmouth head into this weekend's away clash at AFC Wimbledon off the back of a three match unbeaten run which has included solid victories against the likes of Bolton Wanderers and Doncaster Rovers.

Jackett will be aiming to extend his side's good run of form with another victory at Kingsmeadow, where Pompey will come up against a Wimbledon side who also seem to have begun to hit their stride, with the Dons, under the guidance of Glyn Hodges, having picked up three wins in a row in all competitions.

It is a run that has included the 4-1 dismantling of lowly Southend United last weekend, which was due in large parts to the scoring display put on by Marcus Forss, with the Brentford loanee helping himself to a first career hat trick, meaning that Pompey's defence should look to be on their guard this Saturday.

With Portsmouth slowly but surely moving back up the table after such a poor start by their fans' expectations, surely this weekend's clash at Wimbledon represents a great opportunity for Jackett to continue his side's mini revival with another win.

Here, we take a look at the XI that Jackett is likely to field this weekend against AFC Wimbledon....

Craig MacGillivray will return between the sticks in place of Alex Bass, with the Scottish keeper having returned from international duty this week.

In front of the experienced keeper, we expect Jackett to maintain the back four who dug in last weekend to keep a clean sheet against Gillingham in the 0-0 draw at Fratton Park, with Raggett and Burgess once again taking up positions in the centre, whilst Bolton and Brown continue at full back.

In midfield, we also expect it to be unchanged, with Gareth Evans and Marcus Harness looking to provide much of the creativity from their wide berths, thus allowing the domineering figures of Tom Naylor and Ben Close to attempt to win the midfield battle against Wimbledon's likely midfield three.

Lastly, but by no means least, John Marquis is likely to come in to start up front with Ellis Harrison, with Brett Pitman being ruled out through injury by Jackett earlier this week, after the veteran striker limped off against Gillingham last weekend.
