Hull have a number of big decisions to make come the summer following Acun Ilicali's takeover in January.

It's an exciting time to be a Hull fan after Ilicali's purchase of the club following years of under investment by the previous regime.

January brought a glimpse into the future for supporters with several signings coming into the side, but none of them are yet to get going in a Tiger's shirt.

The investment in January was much needed as the side was lacking quality but the overreliance on some of the old guard if you may has been telling.

After the takeover, you would have expected Tom Eaves' Hull career to be over, but so far he's proved to have been important for Shota Arveladze in recent weeks.

The likes of Marcus Forss, Allahyar Sayyadmanesh and Liam Walsh are yet to get going, meaning it could well be back to drawing board in the summer.

But with the club flattering to deceive since Arveladze's appointment in January, it looks to be a huge summer of recruitment. In addition, this is after Ilicali has promised to take the Humberside club into the Premier League, ensuring we could see a lot of movement.

But it isn't just incomings that may be a focus, but outgoings as well. Here we take a look at two summer transfer decisions facing Shota Arveladze when the window opens.

Making a permanent move for Marcus Forss

Marcus Forss arrived at Hull with a big reputation having made a solid impact at Brentford last season. It was a surprise to see the Finn not get much game time in the Premier League which clearly alerted a number of Championship clubs interested in him.

However, since his arrival, he has not hit the form expected of him. The Finalnd international has made just eight appearances since he came in and scored just once amidst several poor performancees.

It was reported earlier this week that Hull have an option to sign Forss permanently in the summer, so they face the decision of whether or not go through with that.

He's a talented player, with plenty of ability and January moves are always hard, so long as the fee is right for the club.

Sell or keep Keane Lewis-Potter

The obvious answer would be to keep hold of Lewis-Potter. He's been Hull's best attacking player this season and without his brilliance off the left hand side, they could be in trouble this season.

He's the top scorer at the club and recently made his debut for the England Under 21s which shows the how highly rated the youngster is.

However, several clubs have been linked with the winger, with Leicester reportedly having bids turned down for the attacker under the previous owners.

The big decision is whether or not Hull can stave off bids as teams will be circling, and with the ambitions of the owner, it will take a big bid to lure Lewis-Potter away.
