Reading have had a poor start to the season, and that has seen Jose Gomes replaced as manager by Mark Bowen.

The Royals have lost five of their last six Championship games and will be hoping that they can get back to winning ways this Saturday, although face tough opposition in third placed Preston.

It will be Bowen's first game as manager in his whole career and he'll be hoping that he can start his managerial career with three points.

Here are TWO hot, and TWO not at Reading right now after a poor start to the season...

HOT: Ovie Ejaria

The Liverpool loanee has arguably been one of the Royals' best players and has produced some excellent displays for what was Gomes' side.

He has been so good on the ball and has been able to dribble with ease past defenders and his close control is a joy to watch.

He's netted some important goals, and is often the midfield outlet and Bowen has to see that if he wants this Reading team to succeed.

HOT: Rafael

The goalkeeper has gone under the radar, what with Reading's poor performances so far this season, but they'd be a lot worse off with a different goalkeeper.

He's been consistently solid, and made some top saves including in games against Swansea and Cardiff. He needs to keep doing what he's doing and hopefully that belief will spread to the rest of the side as he'll want some clean sheets for all the hard work that he's doing in the goal.

NOT: George Puscas

Puscas is a massive conundrum that Bowen faces as he takes over the reigns at the club. The Romanian's movement has been brilliant and he gets into situations to score but just can't hit the back of the net.

He's missed open goals against Bristol City and Middlesbrough as well as tap-ins against Swansea and Charlton. It's vital that he gets a goal very soon or he'll find his confidence at rock bottom.

NOT: Liam Moore

The captain of the Reading side has probably had his worse performances in a Royals shirt for a long long time. He can't seem to have a solid game, and his marking, diving in and passing has all been off the radar in recent weeks.

He actually played the second-half of the Bristol City game in central-midfield and looked better than he had done, but he needs clean sheets and a big improvement in his defensive performances.
