Bristol City have had an excellent start to the season and find themselves unbeaten since an opening weekend defeat to Leeds United.

The Robins have been on a terrific run of form, and that has seen them sit in sixth position in the table as they look to mount a challenge to meet their ambitions and get to the Premier League.

Lee Johnson has made them a formidable outfit, and a tough team to beat but they have to keep this squad ethic going having suffered a number of injuries.

Here are TWO hot and TWO not at Bristol City right now...

HOT: Famara Diedhiou

The striker has been given the confidence to succeed at the club after Benik Afobe's awful injury. Diedhiou scored the winner against Reading before the international break, and took that goal into his form for his country.

He scored the opener for Senegal against Brazil and that would have been another massive boost for the Robins and Johnson as they look to mount a promotion charge.

With the arrival of Rodri, it could help him find a partner that could seriously help Bristol City challenge at the top end of the table for the rest of the season.

HOT: Ashley Williams

Since arriving on a free transfer, Williams has been instrumental in helping the Robins rise up the league and stay unbeaten.

The injury to Tomas Kalas, at the time it happened was a disaster, but the Welsh defender has helped calm the supporters and put in some excellent performances as well as also being a clear leader on the pitch.

Not many would have expected him to be in this type of form after a really poor couple of years, but it seems to have been a really shrewd signing for Johnson.

NOT: Sammie Szmodics

The former Colchester midfielder has appeared just once in the Championship and he'll be hoping to have more of a say in the team in future months.

He needs a run of games, but it doesn't seem like it's going to happen and he may well be regretting the move to Ashton Gate. He's a good player and has proved that at Colchester but now he's got his chance in a higher division, he needs a chance that he can take.

NOT: Adam Nagy

The Hungarian central-midfielder was brilliant in his first couple of games since joining the Robins, but since his injuries it just hasn't gone well for him.

He has failed to make an appearance since August 17th, and Johnson has blamed the manager of the Hungary national team for much of this, but with his return imminent that will be a massive boost.

The key here is for Nagy not to go on international duty when he's got a knock.
