Sheffield United continued their electric start to the season with a late 3-2 victory away at Millwall on Saturday afternoon.

Chris Wilder's men initially led 1-0 thanks to a Billy Sharp goal, but the Lions hit a quickfire double to propel them into the lead.

The Yorkshire club responded twice in the dying embers of the game, however, as David McGoldrick struck twice to grab a late victory for United, who have now won five of their last eight league games.

That takes the striker's tally up to four goals for the season, and it is his performance that we will be focusing on in this FLW Spotlight...

Following his arrival from Ipswich Town on a free transfer in the summer, McGoldrick had been putting in some decent performances, but couldn't seem to find the net previously, netting just twice in his first nine appearances for the Blades.

But his work-rate and ability to come short was rewarded at the weekend with his two goals, and was a real handful for Millwall throughout.

His pass success of 90% from 29 passes, 2 of them being key passes, shows just how involved he was in the Blades attack, and how he can be a provider as well as a finisher.

After 5 shots in 90 minutes, McGoldrick was finally rewarded, after netting a 77th minute penalty and then scoring a close-range finish to steal all three points for Wilder's men - a win that sees them sit 4th in the table.
