Tuesday evening sees matchday 14 of the Championship after the weekend’s resumption of the top two divisions after the international break.

It was a pulsating return for second-tier with goals aplenty and just as many talking points after Saturday’s round of games.

Neil Harris’ men fell to their seventh defeat in 13 after the weekend's loss to Reading at the Madejski Stadium.

The Lions had 27 shots, 12 on target and 14 corners but were on the end of a 3-1 reverse that saw them drop into the bottom three of the division.

Millwall will be hoping to get back to winning ways and move up the table on Tuesday evening when they take on Wigan Athletic at The Den.

The Latics beat West Brom on Saturday afternoon to move up to eight in the division, just one point outside the play-offs.

Harris will have some thinking to do in order to change his side’s fortunes.

With that said, here is the Millwall XI we expect Harris to field v Wigan tomorrow evening.

After a run of eight matches in the side, Ben Amos has been impressive, but Neil Harris will be looking to make changes to find a winning formula.

It would be no surprise to see Jordan Archer recalled in goal in an attempt to change his side's fortunes.

Despite being harshly penalised at the weekend and giving away a contentious penalty, it is expected the right-back will keep his place ahead of the injured Conor McLaughlin in Tuesday night’s visit of Wigan Athletic.

Having scored the equaliser at the weekend in the defeat to Reading, Murray Wallace could have secured his spot for Tuesday’s home clash with Reading.

With Shaun Hutchinson back fit again, expect the Scotsman to keep the Lions’ vice-captain out the side once more.

Millwall’s best player this season was again solid at the weekend and barely put a foot wrong.

Jake Cooper is fully expected to make his 14th appearance of the campaign in the home clash with Wigan Athletic tomorrow evening.

A threat going forward, even after being moved to left-back he is expected to start in that positon ahead of a James Meredith who is struggling to replicate his sensational form from last season.

With that, we expected Shane Ferguson to be given the nod ahead of the Australia international.

Try as he might, nothing came off for Jed Wallace in the weekend’s defeat to Reading.

The winger is looking to be getting back to his form from last season and was one player who was looking to get the ball forward for the Lions.

We expect him to retain his place on the right of midfield for Neil Harris’ men on Tuesday night.

Industrious on the midfield, Saturday afternoon was not his finest game in a Millwall shirt since his arrival but he is striking up a solid partnership in the middle of the pitch with Shaun Williams.

We fully expect Ryan Leonard to keep his place in the middle of the pitch.

After a poor performance against Reading, being caught in possession too many times, his place could be under threat.

But with better options not there for Neil Harris, we expect him to retain his place and put in a better all-round performance against Wigan tomorrow evening.

With Shane Ferguson reverting to left-back the advanced position just ahead of the defender is free to be filled.

We expect Aiden O’Brien to be given a start on the wing on Tuesday evening against Wigan Athletic.

Steve Morison came on and did relatively well in the weekend’s defeat after replacing Tom Elliott who had a quieter game than he had against Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa.

The Lions’ captain is expected by us to come back into the starting XI against Wigan Athletic to start his first match in four.

A constant threat in recent matches and again at the weekend against Reading, the striker’s work-rate is unparalleled and has a solid partnership with Steve Morison.

We fully expect Lee Gregory to start again this midweek and look to score once more at home after his goal in their last match at The Den.
