Fulham are bound to be eager to get back to playing regularly in the Sky Bet Championship as they go in hunt of a top-two finish and an instant return to the Premier League.

The men from Craven Cottage are six points off of West Bromwich Albion in second place and with nine games left in the campaign, there is plenty of time to catch them up.

At the moment, though, the only thing there is plenty of time for is killing it and fans will be hoping that as soon as it is safe to do so the game can get back up and running.

There remains a commitment to do so and that is good to see for supporters of clubs looking to win titles and promotions, whilst the break need not be a bad thing for all involved.

Here, then, we're taking a look at two players the break could actually benefit as they look to recover from fitness issues:

Josh Onomah

Onomah was beginning to rack up the minutes for Fulham but suffered an injury in February that required surgery and was ruled out for several weeks.

However, instead of missing crucial games in the Cottagers' run-in in March, he's missed far less than he would have and now has the chance to work his way back to full fitness - Scott Parker is likely to be pleased with the chance of having the midfielder around.

Harrison Reed

Reed could be huge for Fulham in the run-in, providing the season gets going again.

The midfielder has missed a fair bit of the season but was eyeing a return to action just before the campaign came to a halt.

He's now got a little bit of extra time to really make sure he's ready for a crucial set of matches for the Lilywhites.
