Queens Park Rangers have had a busy summer transfer window so far and there is an expectancy that things will continue in that fashion for the remaining weeks of the market.
Rangers have signed the likes of Charlie Austin, Jordy de Wijs, Sam Field and Andre Dozzell so far this transfer window and there is an expectancy that some more new faces will arrive before deadline day in just over a month from now.
Could QPR look to raid the free agent market in that time, then? If they do, we’ve come up with two players that might be worth the Hoops’ consideration this summer…
If Mark Warburton feels as though he’d like another striker to bolster his ranks up top, Mullin could be well worth a look.
He’s available on a free after leaving Cambridge United this summer, having had a brilliant campaign where he notched over 30 goals for the U’s on their way to promotion from League Two.
QPR would have to work out whether or not he is ready for a leap to the Championship but on a free he may be worth a punt – if Warburton does want another striker of course.
It’s now widely known that Odubajo is training with QPR and has been for a few weeks after leaving Sheffield Wednesday at the end of his contract there.
He is a player that knows Warburton well and it would be silly to put together a free agents piece without mentioning this likely transfer.
Odubajo will add to the club’s options down the right-hand side of the pitch and should pave the way for Todd Kane’s likely exit.
