Leeds were back to winning ways on Saturday with a 1-0 victory over Birmingham which capped off the celebrations at Elland Road for Leeds' 100 year anniversary.

This win was a relief for Marco Bielsa after a turbulent period where Leeds picked up just four points from a possible 12 before the international break.

Kalvin Phillips scored the winner in the second half during a tightly contested game where both sides had good chances to win. These three points leave Leeds second in the league as they trail league leaders West Brom by just two points.

Bielsa would have been delighted to return to winning ways and a clean sheet to maintain his sides incredible defensive record having conceded a league low of just seven goals in the opening 12 fixtures.

With a number of young players like Kalvin Phillips and Jack Harrison performing well for Leeds, it may mean that other youth prospects may have to look for a loan move in the January transfer window to get game time elsewhere.

Here are two Leeds talents who should be sent out on loan.

Leif Davis

Davis joined Leeds in 2018 from League two side Morecambe after impressing in their under 23 side in the 2017-18 season.

The talented left back is yet to make an impact on the Leeds senior team yet and has largely featured for the under 23s or has occupied the bench under Bielsa.

Davis has only played in three senior matches this season, two full games in the EFL Cup and one five minute substitute appearance for Leeds against Bristol City on the opening day of the season.

If he is to fulfil his potential and accelerate his development, which it doesn't look possible at Leeds for the foreseeable future, Davis would benefit from regular game time elsewhere as he is yet to fully experience senior football for an extended period of time.

Kun Temenuzhkov

The 19-year-old Bulgarian joined Leeds youth academy from Barcelona in 2017 and has largely featured in the under 23 development squad playing as a striker or attacking midfielder.

Temenuzhkov featured heavily in the youth team's national league winning campaign last season and also earned his first senior appearance for Leeds after impressing in the under 23s, coming off the bench against QPR in the FA Cup for the final ten minutes.

The Bulgarian youth international is regarded as a talented player with plenty of potential, but his lack of first team game time may prompt a loan move away from Elland Road in January in the search of regularly first team experience.
