Sheffield Wednesday are looking good to finish strongly this season in Championship and that bodes well for the future.

With many of their better players back fit and manager Jos Luhukay really starting to get to grips with things, the results have improved largely of late and there's a better sense of optimism about the club.

For sure, there's plenty more to do over the summer to get the club back as a top six challenging outfit but there's no doubt that they have the potential to be just that.

Whilst we wait to see who arrives, however, Luhukay will surely have an idea of who he wants to let go and so, with that said, here are two players we think might be off...

Steven Fletcher started this season in relatively decent form with his partnership with Gary Hooper certainly looking pretty strong.

Fletcher fell out of form quickly, though, and with fitness issues too he has fallen down the pecking order behind a number of strikers at the club.

There's a good chance he'll move on in the summer.

Abdi has really struggled for minutes this season and there's a sense that his race might be run at Hillsborough.

He's a decent player but is he good enough to help a side get into the play-offs and win promotion? Probably not.

Wednesday need to get rid of a number of players that aren't good enough this summer.
