After an impressive season in the Sky Bet Championship, reports have surfaced claiming that Bundesliga side Red Bull Leipzig are interested in signing Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham.

The 21-year-old has become one of the most prolific forwards in the second tier, scoring 21 goals in 30 games for Dean Smith's Aston Villa this season.

The Sun claims that Leipzig are said to be preparing a £20million bid for the young striker, who has made just three senior appearances for Chelsea since coming through the youth ranks at Stamford Bridge.

This isn't the first time this season that Abraham has been subject of a reported big-money bid, with Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers believed to have lodged a bid of £18million for the striker back in January.

But with Leipzig challenging for a UEFA Champions League spot this season, Abraham's head could well be turned, but here, we take a look at two clear reasons why the Chelsea man should snub interest from the Bundesliga club, and stay at Aston Villa for good...

Leipzig hasn't proven to be the best place for British youngsters

The Bundesliga itself has become a fantastic place for young players to develop - just look at Jadon Sancho who has become one of the most talented youngsters in world football.

But RB Leipzig haven't got the best of history in developing young stars, with Oliver Burke being a prime example. The Scottish winger signed for the club from Nottingham Forest for a reported fee of £13million, but the move quickly went downhill.

He was never given any regular game-time, and as a result, he is now massively out of favour at West Brom.

This should be enough to put Abraham off moving to Leipzig.

He is a massive asset for Aston Villa

After a turbulent loan spell with Swansea City last term, Villa has been the perfect place for Abraham to somewhat kickstart his career again.

He is one of the most lethal strikers in the Championship, and without his goals, Villa would be floating around the bottom end of the league table for sure.

You feel that if Villa did somehow win promotion to the Premier League this season, or perhaps next season, then Abraham would be a regular for them in the top-flight, and his future would definitely be safe under Dean Smith at Villa.
