Sky Bet Championship side Brentford may have a huge task on their hands to keep winger Said Benrahma at the club beyond the summer.

According to reports from French media outlet Le Buteur, Premier League giants Arsenal and Chelsea are believed to be tracking the Algerian winger, ahead of a potential move in the summer.

The 23-year-old has been in incredible form for the Bees this season after arriving from Ligue 1 outfit Nice in the summer, and after a slow start to his time at Griffin Park, he has quickly become one of the most exciting players in the division.

Unai Emery's Arsenal have been linked with several talented players from the Championship this term, with reports earlier on in the season claiming that the Gunners were interested in signing Norwich City's Max Aarons, as well as Leeds United's Jack Clarke.

And after this recent update, we take a look at two reasons why the North London club need to seal a deal for Said Benrahma...

He contributes to plenty of goals

As alluded to before, Benrahma has been in exceptional form for Brentford this season.

The playmaker has scored eight goals for the West London club this term, and has provided 11 assists for Thomas Frank's men too.

He is an incredibly gifted player, who has definitely caught the eye after netting a hat-trick against Hull City last weekend.

He is a very versatile player

Benrahma's best position is out wide, but the Algerian can also play in behind the striker which would make him a very interesting option for Emery.

The Spaniard likes to deploy a system that utilises attacking midfielders, and Benrahma would certainly fit the bill at the Emirates Stadium.

With Mesut Ozil's future up in arms, Benrahma could be a very shrewd replacement.
