West Brom have been in excellent form of late, as they swept aside Reading at the weekend, thrashing the Royals 4-1 to move up to second in the Championship table.

Darren Moore's side have been linked to Blackburn Rovers talisman Bradley Dack who has been in scintillating form this season, scoring his eighth goal of the season to fire Blackburn into the play-off hunt.

The midfielder moved to Rovers in July 2017 and has been in excellent form ever since. Dack has also assisted twice this season as Blackburn are proving to be the surprise package in the play-off race this season.

But you're probably asking yourself, but why do West Brom need Dack when they already have the likes of Dwight Gayle and Harvey Barnes already in their squad, scoring goals on a regular basis?

Find out exactly why West Brom will need to land Dack's signature in January here...

Many questioned if Dack would be able to take his good form in League 1, into the Championship and he has certainly silenced those doubters.

With eight goals already this season, the statistics don't lie, and Dack has scored over half of Rovers' goals this season, as they have netted 14 times in the Championship side.

If Dack was to sign for the Baggies, then he will be confident of replicating the form he has shown for Blackburn and will be aiming for a shot in the Premier League if West Brom keep up their impressive run of form in the Championship this season.

They are currently on an eight match unbeaten run in the league and will go into their match against Wigan after the international break, full of confidence about getting all three points.

With one of West Brom's stand out performers being on loan Leicester winger Harvey Barnes, you may question as to why they need Dack in the same team as Barnes.

But with Dacks more impressive goalscoring record and with his creativity combined with Barnes', Darren Moore's side would boast the league's most dangerous attacking players all in one team which would leave defences terrified on a weekly basis.

With Dack and Barnes playing behind the impressive striking duo of Dwight Gayle and Jay Rodriguez, it's a recipe for goals, and with West Brom already being the top goalscorers in the Championship this season, adding Dack to their starting XI, would add to their already incredible firepower in Darren Moore's squad.
