Derby County will be hoping to return to winning ways in the Sky Bet Championship this weekend, but they face a tough game against Gary Rowett's Millwall.

The Rams reached the play-off final under Frank Lampard last season and were hoping to challenge for promotion, but they've struggled for consistency so far this campaign under Phillip Cocu.

Derby are unbeaten in their last nine matches at Pride Park, but they remain without an away win in the league since their opening game of the season.

Their 1-1 draw against Sheffield Wednesday in midweek has left them 16th in the Championship table - eight points outside the play-offs - and without a win in their last four matches.

Derby will be hoping to get their season back on track this weekend, but they face a tough game against 13th-placed Millwall, who are unbeaten in their six matches and are starting to build some serious momentum under new manager Rowett.

Here is the Derby starting XI that Cocu should play for the clash at Pride Park...

Cocu has shown throughout his time in charge of Derby that he's not afraid to experiment with his formation, but he's gone with a 4-2-3-1 system for his last few home matches and that is what he should stick with tomorrow.

It'll be interesting to see whether Ben Hamer keeps his place in goal. The 32-year-old - who is on loan at Derby from Huddersfield Town - has started the Rams' last three matches ahead of Kelle Roos, but is yet to keep a clean sheet.

Roos has struggled so far this season and has been conceded far too many goals, so there's a decent chance that Hamer will keep his place between posts against Millwall.

Cocu should keep faith with the same back four that he played in the 1-1 draw with Sheffield Wednesday. That means Scott Malone starting at left-back, with Jayden Bogle at left-back.

With Matt Clarke still out injured, Craig Forsyth keeps his place at centre-back alongside Curtis Davies.

Moving into midfield, Krystian Bielik has been struggling with a hip problem and missed the draw against Sheffield Wednesday in midweek. However, Cocu has confirmed there's a chance he could be available for selection against Millwall.

If Bielik is fit, he surely has to start, but Cocu has a decision over which player should drop to the bench.

Jason Knight made his third league start for Derby on Wednesday night and put in a good performance.

There's a chance that the 18-year-old could keep his place, but it's also possible that Cocu could decide to stick with the more experienced George Evans, in what promises to be an intense and competitive game against a physical Millwall side.

Tom Lawrence has been criticised by some Derby supporters for his poor performances in recent games. He should keep his place in the side on the left tomorrow, though, and may feel that he has a point to prove to the fans following some underwhelming displays.

Duane Holmes should keep his place in the team in the No. 10 position, but Martyn Waghorn should return to the starting line-up in place of 18-year-old Morgan Whittaker, who struggled on what was his first league start for the Rams in midweek.

Chris Martin is likely to keep his place up front. The centre-forward ended a run of ten games without a goal with a late penalty against Sheffield Wednesday and will be determined to get himself on the scoresheet again tomorrow.
