Marcelo Bielsa will be hoping his Leeds United side can make another statement in the Sky Bet Championship this weekend when they take on Bolton Wanderers.

Leeds have found a real good run of form lately and have picked up maximum points in their last four outings.

The Whites have swept aside the likes of Bristol City, Reading, Sheffield United and Queens Park Rangers, putting a heavy November defeat to West Bromwich Albion well and truly behind them.

On paper, this weekend looks a decent enough opportunity for Leeds to extend that run, with Bolton fighting at the other end of the table to the Whites.

Injuries are still plaguing Bielsa’s side, though, and Bolton might see this as a decent time to play Leeds.

Here at FLW, we look ahead to the fixture, identifying the starting XI we are expecting Bielsa to field to take on the Trotters…

Peacock-Farrell is Leeds’ first choice for now and a guaranteed starter.

Shackleton stepped in superbly against QPR last weekend and should continue to deputise.

Halme should come back into the side away from home.

The Finnish youngster is still raw, but has shown good signs in recent weeks and deserves a chance to start.

Alongside Halme should be Jansson, who will be expected to have a big afternoon in a makeshift defence.

Douglas should start at left-back, offering balance to the back-four.

Phillips can push up into midfield if Halme comes in, which should benefit Leeds’ overall play.

Hernandez will captain Leeds from the right as he has done in recent weeks.

Klich will continue in a more advanced position, with the midfielder surely due a goal this weekend.

Forshaw edges Samu Saiz back out of the team after a solid performance against QPR.

It looks as though the latter will be on his way out of Elland Road in the near future.

Bielsa is under huge pressure to drop Ezgjan Alioski and this weekend could be the time to do it.

Away from home against a struggling side, Clarke could thrive.

Despite the return of Patrick Bamford, Leeds should continue with Roofe in attack.

He has 10 goals to his name this season and is in superb form.
