Middlesbrough have had an interesting week as they prepare to travel to struggling Hull City on Saturday afternoon.

Tony Pulis' men drew 0-0 at home to Swansea City last weekend, before defeating Preston North End on penalties after a 2-2 draw in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night, and Boro fans will be very hopeful of another win this weekend against the struggling Tigers.

Perhaps the most impressive factor about Boro is that in the league, they have conceded just one goal in their previous eight league outings, and sit joint top of the standings with Leeds United, after five wins, three draws and one defeat.

Pulis made 11 changes in midweek from the side that drew a stalemate with Swansea last weekend, so would some individual performances in midweek have made him want to make some changes against Hull?

Here, we take a look at two changes Pulis should look to make to the side that faced Swansea...

Hugill has made just two starting appearances for Boro this season, and has scored in one of those appearances against Rochdale in the Carabao Cup.

The 26-year old, who is a proven goalscorer in this division, could be a magnificent strike partner for Britt Assombalonga, and by moving Martin Braithwaite just in behind the two forwards, this could be a beneficial move.

Besic has been in and out of the first team this year, after swapping places in the team with the likes of Jonny Howson and Adam Clayton.

To give one of the duo a rest, Besic should look to reclaim his spot in the Boro XI for the trip to Hull.
