Norwich City were given a real wake-up call in midweek when they were comfortably beaten by Preston North End at Deepdale.

It was a day to forget for the Canaries, as the home side raced into a three-goal lead, with Teemu Pukki netting a late consolation goal for Daniel Farke's side.

The Norwich boss certainly won't have been impressed with his side's performance on the day, and could be tempted to make changes to his starting XI for their game against Bolton Wanderers this weekend.

The Canaries will be favourites heading into this one, with Bolton struggling to retain their place in the Championship this season, but they can pose a threat to Farke's side.

If Norwich put in a similar performance this weekend like they did against Preston, then they could be beaten again, which would put a serious dent in their promotion bid.

But what changes could we see Farke make for their game this weekend?

Find out below....

Jordan Rhodes replacing Marco Stiepermann

Rhodes was a second-half substitute and could be in line for a start in this one, against a frail-looking Bolton defence.

He provided the assist for Teemu Pukki's late consolation, and he could replace Marco Stiepermann if Daniel Farke opts to play in a more attacking style.

Having two up-front, could be exactly what Norwich need to dispatch of Bolton with ease on Saturday.

Kenny McLean replacing Tom Trybull

Trybull struggled to deal with Preston in the centre of midfield and was replaced at half time in the defeat in midweek.

This speaks volumes about how disappointed Daniel Farke will have been with his performance and he could certainly be replaced this weekend.

McLean came on as a substitute against Preston, and was a rare bright spark in a poor display from Norwich on the night.
