Derby County's winning run came to an end at the weekend, in what was a very disappointing day at Rotherham United on Saturday afternoon.

The Millers ran out 1-0 winners as Frank Lampard was sent to the stands, on a day where winger Tom Lawrence was shown a straight red card for a robust challenge.

The Rams had won their last three league games before Saturday's fixture, and have the perfect opportunity to respond with another win tonight at home to Blackburn Rovers.

As games come thick and fast in the Championship, Lampard is blessed with a large squad and is therefore able to make some changes to his starting line-up to face Tony Mowbray's men tonight.

With that being said, here we take a look at two changes Lampard could make to his Derby side tonight...

An enforced change due to the suspension of Tom Lawrence at the weekend - this could pave the way for Mason Bennett to make a return to the starting line-up.

The homegrown attacker has come up leaps and bounds under Frank Lampard this term, and was awarded the Man of the Match accolade on his home debut this season, and more than deserves his chance in the starting eleven tonight.

With six games in 16 days cause for squad rotation, this could mean a first Rams start for Jack Marriott in replacement of Martyn Waghorn.

After netting 33 times for Peterborough United last term, Marriott has found life difficult at Pride Park thus far, however with Waghorn only managing to find the net once in the league this season, the 24-year old could be given his chance tonight.
