Aitor Karanka will be looking to guide Nottingham Forest to only their second league win of the campaign on Wednesday night against Sheffield Wednesday.

His Forest side drew 0-0 at Swansea City on Saturday afternoon, which on another day had the Reds’ finishing been more clinical, Forest would have walked away with all three points for only the second time this season.

The East Midlands side sit 16th in the league standings following Saturday’s result, as they prepare to host the Owls on Wednesday night under the City Ground lights.

Games come thick and fast in the Championship, and naturally, Karanka will look to make changes to his side in order to ensure that fitness levels remain high, and thankfully he is blessed with a squad that are full of talent.

And here, we take a look at two changes Karanka may look to make to his Forest squad tonight...

Claudio Yacob could be in line to make his Forest debut on Wednesday night...

The Argentine missed the trip to South Wales on Saturday through injury, however could now look to play a major part in the Reds' clash with the Owls as Forest look to add more defensive steel to their midfield.

Fresh off international duty for Portugal, Carvalho will be looking to return to domestic action and make an impact at the City Ground.

The Reds' £13million record signing is yet to live up to his hefty price tag this season with just one assist to his name, and will no doubt be hoping to prove his doubters wrong on Wednesday night.
