Daniel Farke has been dealt a major injury blow ahead of his side's trip to Reading on Wednesday night.

The Canaries, who sealed only their second win of the season on Saturday afternoon against Middlesbrough, will be without the likes of Ben Marshall, Ivo Pinto, Marco Stiepermann, as well as star man Onel Hernandez for their trip to Berkshire.

The latter has netted twice and provided three assists for City this term, and should prove to be a big loss for Norwich on Wednesday night.

The Canaries will still be full of confidence going into the fixture however, as Farke prepares to face Reading who managed to find their first league win of the season at the weekend, with an impressive 3-2 win away at Preston.

Here, we take a look at two changes Daniel Farke could make to the Norwich City starting line-up against Reading on Wednesday...

Due to Hernandez' injury, Farke could look to change his standard 4-3-3 formation to a 4-4-2, with Moritz Leitner pushed out onto the left flank, meaning that Jordan Rhodes could look to partner Teemu Pukki up top for the Canaries on Wednesday.

The Scotsman came on as a sub for Norwich on Saturday, and will look to add to his tally of 2 goals on Wednesday night.

The Bosnian midfielder came on to replace Stiepermann who looks to miss out on the trip to Reading through a hip injury, and is a solid addition to the City midfield.

The 29-year old has been a reliable figure for Norwich since his arrival from Darmstadt in 2017, and is a like for like replacement for Stiepermann.
