Aston Villa's march to the top six continued this weekend with another fine win in the Sky Bet Championship.

Dean Smith's men are putting together a run of form just at the right time, and they moved into the top six thanks to a well earned three points once more.

However, it's not all rosy at Villa Park for certain members of the squad, with young midfielder Jordan Lyden this weekend reportedly being told he is to be moved on this summer after failing to overcome a series of bad injuries.

The Aussie midfielder has had rotten luck in all honesty, and saw a loan spell with Oldham cut short for similar reasons.

However, if he can get his fitness back over the summer and stay injury free, then the midfielder could well be a useful addition for one or two Championship clubs, and it got us here at FLW thinking.

With that thought in mind, we looked at TWO potential destinations for Lyden this summer...

Wigan Athletic

Wigan look like they are going to have enough to stay up and a big win this weekend gave them a huge boost once again.

Paul Cook is good at getting the best out of his players and managing players well, and he could be a good fit for Lyden.

Lyden would also slot in nicely for a team who like to play good football when they get chance.

Reading

Another good footballing team who should be better next season if they can indeed stay up, Reading would be a nice fit for Lyden.

The Royals are going to need new faces and fresh ideas if they are to avoid a repeat of this season, and signing someone like Lyden who has a point to prove could well be a shrewd move for the Berkshire club.
