Cardiff City are currently in the midst of their final transfer window with parachute payments however it does not look likely that they will be splashing the cash in the hope of pulling away from the relegation conversation.
Steve Morison has got a better tune out of the squad in the last couple of months than Mick McCarthy did this season and, helped by points deductions, the Bluebirds appear unlikely to be dragged back into the depths of a relegation battle. Morison has demonstrated a clear desire to integrate younger players into the first team picture in the Welsh capital, this will certainly be an attractive trait for clubs looking to loan their younger players into the second tier and that appears to be the case with Leeds United.
Here, we have taken a look at two Cardiff City transfer sagas to keep an eye on this week...
Cody Drameh
Leeds United reporter for The Athletic Phil Hay confirmed that the Whites are yet to make a decision on whether to loan Cody Drameh out this January. The update came after Fabrizio Romano had reported that the 20-year-old was on the cusp of a loan move to Cardiff City for the rest of the season.
It will be interesting to monitor how this one pans with the Bluebirds looking likely to bring in the right back. Drameh has made three Premier League appearances this season and could provide some competition for places with Tom Sang and Perry Ng at right wing back.
Kieffer Moore
Talismanic striker Kieffer Moore was linked with a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers at the back end of the summer transfer window and is on Bournemouth's shortlist this month according to The Sun. The Cherries sit top of the tree in the Championship at the moment and look more likely than not under Scott Parker to finish in the automatic promotion places.
Moore has been one of the best strikers in the league in recent years and at 29, he will be looking for a move that enhances his chances of playing in the Premier League. This could be one to rumble on until deep into the window.
