Cardiff City could be gearing up for a busy summer.

The Bluebirds are enjoying a decent season and are still in the mix to secure a place in the play-off spots come the end of the season.

Of course there's still plenty of work for Mick McCarthy's side to do if they're to reach the top six, meaning that the chances are they'll be playing in the Championship again next term.

If that is the case there's no doubt that Cardiff will be in the mix next term.

The Welsh side are building an impressive side under McCarthy but in order to bring new players in, one or two may have to move on.

Here are two players could may well be looking for a move away this summer.

Lee Tomlin

Things just don't seem to be working out for the midfielder at the moment.

Tomlin has really struggled with injuries of late and as a result has missed much of the season so far after undergoing surgery on a groin injury in the Autumn.

Despite being back in action the playmaker has found it tough to break into the first team fold again and so there's every chance that he may look for a fresh start this summer as he looks to reignite his career.

Jonny Williams

He only joined the club in January this year but things just haven't worked out.

Williams has been limited to just two cameo appearances for the Bluebirds this term which has suggested that he's not seen as being part of Mick McCarthy's plans.

At 27 years of age the player needs to find somewhere where he can thrive and perhaps a summer move away is the best chance for him to do that.
