The Bluebirds are enjoying a decent season and are still in the mix to secure a place in the play-off spots come the end of the season.
Of course there’s still plenty of work for Mick McCarthy’s side to do if they’re to reach the top six, meaning that the chances are they’ll be playing in the Championship again next term.
If that is the case there’s no doubt that Cardiff will be in the mix next term.
The Welsh side are building an impressive side under McCarthy but in order to bring new players in, one or two may have to move on.

He only joined the club in January this year but things just haven’t worked out.
Williams has been limited to just two cameo appearances for the Bluebirds this term which has suggested that he’s not seen as being part of Mick McCarthy’s plans.
At 27 years of age the player needs to find somewhere where he can thrive and perhaps a summer move away is the best chance for him to do that.
