Bristol City have made a strong start to the season and will feel they're well set to launch a top-six challenge in the 2020/21 campaign.

Dean Holden has had a successful first few months as City's permanent head coach and led his side to fifth in the Championship through 11 games.

A successful January transfer window could be a huge boost to their play-off hopes but there may be some departures as well as additions.

With that in mind, we've highlighted two Robins players that may be eyeing a move away in the January transfer window...

Han-Noah Massengo

The midfielder has slipped down the pecking order at Ashton Gate and hasn't featured in the Championship since their season opener against Coventry City.

With Liam Walsh and Joe Williams still set to return from injury, it seems as though opportunities are going to be even harder to come by as the campaign wears on.

That will likely frustrate the 19-year-old as regular football is surely the best thing for his develpoment at the moment. Massengo may be eyeing a move away from City in January, though that will most likely be a loan.

Did these 17 Bristol City players ever actually score a league goal for the club?

Famara Diedhiou

Last season's player of the year has struggled to make much of an impact this term with summer signing Chris Martin making waves in the first few months of his Ashton Gate career.

The 27-year-old has only started twice for the Championship club this season, with the majority of his appearances coming as a substitute, and has failed to find the net once.

Diedhiou is out of contract at the end of the season and was linked with a move away from Bs3 over the summer, so he may be eyeing a departure when the transfer window reopens in January.

It may be a move that the Ashton Gate outfit are open to as it could allow them to cash in, rather than seeing him walk away as a free agent next summer.
