Bristol City will be hoping for the season to resume as soon as possible so they can go about getting themselves into the Premier League for the very first time.
The Robins have had a bit of an up and down season this year but, overall, it has been a positive one and they will go into the run-in, once it begins, with hope that a top-six berth is on the horizon.

Robins will be pleased with that, and a couple of players might be happy with the break, too.Of course, when the season is going to resume remains to be seen thanks to yesterday’s announcement that the game in this country is going to be suspended indefinitely but, luckily for sides with ambition this season, there has been a reaffirmed commitment to getting this campaign completed.
Let’s take a look at them now:
Afobe has had a really tough few months both on and off the field.
His attitude is exemplary, though, and he was confident of being back in the fold once the break was over so this extended period will surely boost that feeling further.
ACL injuries can never be rushed and there’s no fear of that happening now, with him afforded some extra time to try and get back to the level he was at at the start of the campaign, and fire the Robins to the play-offs.
Understandably after last season, there was great joy when the Robins signed Kalas on a permanent deal last summer but it’s been a bit stop-start for him since.
Injury lay-offs have limited his number of appearances during the campaign but he was back into the side just before the game was suspended in this country.
He’ll now be looking to use this time off to really strengthen and keep himself in shape for what the club will hope will be a successful run in.
