Blackpool will be seeking to consolidate their place in the Sky Bet Championship as the season progresses further into 2022.

At the time of writing Neil Critchley's side currently sit 12th place in the league standings and are well on their way to achieving their primary objective of staying put in the second tier.

As with plenty of other clubs up and down the country, the Seasiders will now be assessing whether they need to add some fresh faces to their existing squad or not after the January transfer window opened.

In addition to arrivals, there could also be some potential departures from Bloomfield Road as players start to take a look at their options before committing to a club for the rest of the current campaign.

With that in mind, we have devised a list of TWO Blackpool players who may be eyeing an exit from the club this month...

Bowler is said to have already been the subject of a bid from Nottingham Forest this month, according to a recent report by the Blackpool Gazette.

Critchley has since refused to comment on the speculation over the winger's future, which means Bowler's situation is slightly shrouded in doubt.

The attacker only signed for the Seasiders in the summer from Everton on a free transfer and put pen to paper on a one year deal that includes the option of a 12 month extension.

Now aged 22, Bowler has two goals and three assists to his name this term.

Tyreece John-Jules

The Arsenal loanee hasn't featured for the Seasiders since mid-October and could well be keen to assess his options this month.

His parent club are sure to be unpleased with the current situation that their player finds himself in and as a result they could look to recall the frontman before loaning him elsewhere.

Critchley has remained coy over the striker's future but for now it would appear that the youngster quite simply isn't in the club's plans.

John-Jules has played 12 games for Blackpool across all competitions so far, without finding the back of the net,
