Coventry City will look to move closer to the top two by picking up three points against struggling Bolton this afternoon.

Whilst Mark Robins' men will have been devastated in the manner they exited the FA Cup against Birmingham City in the week, they should take encouragement from the way they played in both games against the Championship side.

However, all focus switches back to the league now and a few players will have a point to prove this afternoon. One of those is Callum O'Hare, as he looks to establish himself as a regular in the XI moving forward.

The attacking midfielder joined the club from Aston Villa in the summer and, as our graphic shows, has had a mixed time of things since.

O'Hare has been regarded as one of the brightest prospects to come through the academy at Villa Park in recent years and even at 21-years-old they will hope he can have a future with his boyhood club.

However, his return of two goals and two assists doesn't stand out and that will be a major concern for the Premier League side if they want to bring him back to the club in the summer.

Quite simply, a top-flight player in the final third needs to be regularly contributing goals and assists and O'Hare clearly isn't at that level yet.

But, his age has to be taken into consideration and Villa will also be encouraged by the way the youngster has been playing.

His 37 progressive runs show O'Hare is a player that always looks to beat his opponent and that is a rare quality in someone who can play centrally - with Villa's Jack Grealish the prime example of someone who can do this at the top level.

Elsewhere, 30 shot assists prove that the youngster is getting into good positions and giving his teammates chances but they aren't always converting them - which isn't down to O'Hare.

Ultimately, this has been a very positive loan spell for the Sky Blues, Villa and O'Hare and there's still a lot more football for the attacking midfielder to play as he looks to help Coventry to the Championship. And, his parent club will watching on closely in the coming months to see how he copes with these high-pressure fixtures.
