Bournemouth will surely be thinking of ways they can potentially improve their squad further this January transfer window, as they bid to make 2022 the year where they return to the Premier League.
The Cherries have had a good season so far and will be pleased with how it has gone but there is always room for improvement and they now have the chance to try and add to their squad if they so wish.
That said, we could also see some exits either in the form of loans or permanent moves and, with that in mind, we’re taking a look at two players who could potentially end up leaving the club in the near future.
Let’s look at who and why now…
Cook’s long-term association with the Cherries appears to be coming to an end with him on the verge of joining Nottingham Forest in the very near future.
Appearances for the club have been limited this season under Scott Parker and it looks as though a new challenge now awaits him at the City Ground.
A player that has seen it all with Bournemouth, fans will naturally wish him well for the future.
The Cherries have some fine attacking options and that means someone like Saydee is going to be naturally on the periphery for now.
He’s still a teenager but will be itching to be playing and potentially a loan deal could be worth looking at.
He’s a youngster that Scott Parker rates and there is talk of a new contract being in the offing for him so that could be done before he gets an opportunity to get some more important senior minutes in the second half of the season.
