With Blackburn reportedly set to lure Sunderland goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin to Ewood Park, some Rovers fans have recently been debating the future of Christian Walton.
The 24-year-old signed for Blackburn on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer, after impressing on loan at Wigan Athletic for two successive seasons.
The shot-stopper has been a regular for Tony Mowbray’s side this season following the summer departure of David Raya to Brentford, and has been an everpresent for Rovers in the Championship.
Have Blackburn done these 15 things in the last 10 years?
But with McLaughlin reportedly on his way to Ewood Park from the Stadium of Light, what does this mean for Walton’s time at Blackburn, and will Mowbray look to re-sign him on loan again next year?
Could a permanent deal also be a possibility for the goalkeeper, who has only managed to make three senior appearances for Brighton since coming through the ranks at the AMEX?
A group of Blackburn fans have been discussing how much Walton is worth in today’s market, should Blackburn be interested in a potential permanent deal for the shot-stopper this summer.
Here is what they had to say…
Not good enough so any money out of the budget would be a waste.

£1.5-£2m but I think there will be a big shift in transfer fees and wages in the efl for the next few seasons
