With Blackburn reportedly set to lure Sunderland goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin to Ewood Park, some Rovers fans have recently been debating the future of Christian Walton.

The 24-year-old signed for Blackburn on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer, after impressing on loan at Wigan Athletic for two successive seasons.

The shot-stopper has been a regular for Tony Mowbray’s side this season following the summer departure of David Raya to Brentford, and has been an everpresent for Rovers in the Championship.
