Aston Villa are enjoying a stellar season as Steve Bruce's side sit just one point away from second placed Derby County.

The Villans have won their last six league games and now look a real shoe-in for promotion back to the Premier League.

One Villa player who has enjoyed a fantastic campaign is winger Albert Adomah.

The 30-year-old has featured 28 times for the Midlands outfit this season, notching a very impressive 13 goals and four assists.

Considering he is a winger and not an out-and-out striker, 13 goals is an amazing return.

Adomah is Villa's top scorer this season, having scored five more than striker Scott Hogan who is currently on eight goals so far.

So, how much is Albert Adomah worth in today's current market?

Reliable football stats website Transfermarkt has valued the former Middlesbrough wide-man at £2.25 million - a snip in today's current transfer climate.

We at Football League World have valued the talented attacker at a cool £8 million, and feel that this is a fair valuation considering his age.

Adomah would of course been valued a lot higher if he was a number of years younger, but with him slowly reaching the latter stages of his career, £8 million is a fair estimation of his current going rate.

The Ghanaian winger's form will be crucial to Aston Villa achieving their main objective of promotion to the Premier League - and he'll be looking to continue his fine streak in the Second City derby on Sunday.

Villa fans.... Would you say £8 million is a fair valuation for Albert Adomah? Or is he worth a lot more? Let us know your thoughts below!
