Wolves today completed the permanent signings of Willy Boly and Benik Afobe as they look to build a squad capable of competing in the Premier League.

The duo had been a part of Wolves' promotion-winning campaign and were always expected to join up on longer term contracts, with the West Midlands side having first option on the deals.

However, Nuno Espirito Santo's summer spree is not going to end there, with many expecting Wolves to make some serious statement signings in the coming months.

Sporting director Kevin Thelwell revealed that the club are targeting quality over quantity with their recruitment and that will excite fans who have already seen a host of talented players arrive at Molineux.

Here we look at three deals we expect the newly-promoted side to secure in the coming months...

The situation regarding Rui Patricio is incredible with the Sporting Lisbon player asking for his contract to be terminated.

However, whilst it's unclear how that will play out, Wolves clearly want the stopper and it's easy to see why.

He is a top keeper and would be a major upgrade on what they have. With Jorge Mendes involved in a deal, it may give Wolves chance of landing the 30-year old in what would be a real coup.

The Manchester United defender is way down the pecking order at Old Trafford and has been linked with a move to Wolves.

Despite his struggles in his first year in England, the Sweden international is a quality defender who is also capable on the ball and would be a major addition to Santo's back three.

Even though Afobe joined today, securing another number nine will be a priority for Wolves and they've been linked with a move for AC Milan's Silva.

He was out of favour with the Italian giants and there need to sell and raise money has been well-documented.

The obvious obstacle for Wolves will be the competition they face in trying to land him but with Premier League football, a strong Portuguese connection at Molineux and a manager he knows well, they may have more of a chance than you think.
