Bolton Wanderers will travel to Sincil Bank to take on Lincoln City on a huge high on Saturday, as they look to build from their first win of the season last time out.

Having run out 2-0 winners away at Bristol Rovers on Tuesday night, Bolton may feel that another victory here could start to generate some belief that they may yet pull off a great escape this season.

Lincoln themselves have won just once under new manager Michael Appleton, although that was a 2-0 win at home to Sunderland, meaning the Imps will still pose a dangerous proposition for Bolton this weekend.

With that in mind, we've taken a look at the lineup that Bolton boss Keith Hill could name to give his side the best possible chance of picking up three more points on Saturday afternoon.

Having looked relatively comfortable in ending play-off chasing Bristol Rovers' unbeaten home league record on Tuesday, and with injuries continuing to take their toll on the side, we don't imagine Hill will either want or be able to make too many changes on Saturday.

In goal, Remi Matthews should continue between the posts as he has done for much of the season, following a morale-boosting clean sheet against Bristol Rovers.

With the back four likely to also be high on confidence following that result, that too could remain the same, meaning Preston loanee Josh Earl could continue in the centre of defence, after the natural left-back made his first appearance since injury brought a premature end to his debut for the club on the opening day of the season.

Having been handed a provisional international call-up by Zimbabwe earlier in the week, the man who has taken over from Earl at left-back: Adam Chicksen, should have extra reason for confidence ahead of this one, while also ensuring that he has stamped his mark on that particular position, forcing the Preston loanee into that more central position again this weekend.

In the holding midfield positions, Luke Murphy should feel he has done enough to continue into the XI after scoring his first goal for the club against Bristol Rovers alongside captain Jason Lowe.

One change that could come is in the attacking midfield area, where Dennis Politic is again available after missing the win at Bristol Rovers through illness.

The Romanian could return in place of Ali Crawford - who may be due a break after starting two games already this week - with Joe Dodoo, Chris O'Grady and Daryl Murphy - who like his namesake got off the mark in Bolton colours on Tuesday - completing an encouraging looking attacking lineup for Wanderers.
