Sheffield Wednesday supporters have certainly experienced a rollercoaster ride of a season so far but with Steve Bruce's recent appointment, they will hope for some stability.

The Owls are currently sat 16th in the Championship table, and will be hoping to push themselves up it at the earliest of opportunities.

Jos Luhukay was sacked as manager of the club earlier this season, and many fans felt that he was given far too much time with the Owls, as they slipped further down the table.

It's sure to be an interesting transfer window this month for Sheffield Wednesday as they look to conduct any business they have lined up, as quickly as possible so that they can impact their squad in a positive manner.

There's likely to be players departing the club as well, with a number of high earners still on the books at Hillsborough, so it will certainly be a busy and potentially season-defining transfer window.

But what transfer business needs to happen at Sheffield Wednesday this month?

Find out below....

Sign Christian Fuchs from Leicester

The experienced left-back has fallen down the pecking order at Leicester, and he could certainly benefit from regular game time.

Fuchs is too good of an option to have sitting on the substitutes bench, and Sheffield Wednesday could be the best destination for him, with Morgan Fox struggling at times during this season.

Sell Almen Abdi as quickly as possible

The 32-year-old has only made four appearances in total, and with just one start to his name last season for Sheffield Wednesday, it's clear to see that his future lies away from Hillsborough.

On his day, Abdi can create and it'll be hugely frustrating for him to not be playing a part in their campaign this season.

He isn't even making the substitutes bench and the Owls should be looking to shift him off the wage bill at the earliest of opportunities this month.
