Bristol City can hold their heads up high after last night as they pushed Man City all the way in the EFL Cup.

Ultimately, they lost the tie 5-3 on aggregate but they still gave a very good account of themselves and now they need to get themselves back focused on the league and their play-off challenge with their Championship form a bit iffy right now.

In the meantime, though, another distraction has come about with Brighton launching a £6 million bid for Aden Flint - as per Sky Sports News on Twitter:

For sure, Flint is a man that could play in the Premier League but the Robins would surely be blowing their own top flight dream by letting him go at this point.

It's clear they don't want to sell him at the moment, then, though seems a fair few fans would sell-up if the Seagulls added a fair chunk to their offer...
