Tomorrow afternoon sees the start of one of the most exciting passages of the English football season; the EFL Play-offs.

Over the Bank Holiday weekend we're going to see Newport v Tranmere, Sunderland v Charlton and Aston Villa v Derby and three of those sides are going to be heading up the pyramid.

In the first game, then, Tranmere fans will hope that it is their side on the right end of the result tomorrow evening, then, and with the man below spearheading their charge, they've got every chance:

Frankly, James Norwood's season has been utterly unbelievable.

He and the Super White Army have taken to League Two like ducks to water and he has put defences to the sword time and again this year.

These stats look at his numbers from the league campaign and the play-off shootout so far, whilst he also has a couple of cup goals to his name, not included in this graphic.

With nearly two shots on target a game and 160 shots overall this season, it's not hard to see why he's won the Golden Boot in the fourth tier this year and, with that, why he's also many tipsters' reason as to why Tranmere will win tomorrow.

The defence of Newport are going to have to be sharp, then, whilst the pace Norwood has could well be the difference on that big Wembley playing surface.

Whatever happens, you get the feeling his performance could well dictate the way the game swings in the end.
