Nuno Santo made it clear that his priority is promotion by making changes last weekend even when there was a very real prospect of causing a cup upset at home to Premier League basement club Swansea City last Saturday.

That match ended as a 0-0 draw, creating another fixture for Wolves to play in the replay - which means the changes might have been counter intuitive - but I expect Santo to return to full-strength for the trip to Barnsley tomorrow.

A big talking point is whether to give new signing Rafa Mir his first start in attack. I would still use him off the bench and start Leo Bonatini, as the Spaniard is still adjusting to live in a new country.

Leave Mir as an impact sub and stick with the formula that has brought Wolves much success this season. Wolves' momentum has been checked slightly by draws against sides in the bottom half in the shape of Millwall and Sunderland in recent weeks and Santo will be keen to avoid a repeat.

Willy Boly, Ruben Neves, Romain Saiss, Barry Douglas, Diego Jota and Ivan Cabaleiro were all given a rest against the Swans but should all be introduced without hesitation here.
