Swansea City were left stunned as they were beaten 3-2 at home to relegation-threatened Ipswich Town. A result that sees Ipswich pick up their first win of the season.

Swansea took the lead early on before two quick-fire goals gave the Tractor Boys a shock lead. Swansea then levelled late on before Town snatched an unlikely winner to see them edge closer out of the relegation places.

One man who played a key role in the win was winger Freddie Sears who was on hand to provide an assist on the day, to inspire his side to all three points.

The assists were Sears' 3rd of the season and in only his second start of the season, he certainly leaves manager Paul Hurst with a selection headache for Ipswich's next match against QPR at Portman Road.

Sears made four crosses during the game which is second only to teammate Grant Ward who made eight. But it was Sears that provided the assist for one of Towns' goals.

Sears only made 15 passes during the match but during a defensive display from Ipswich against a dominant Swansea City but evidently made his contribution count as he set up the equaliser for Gwion Edwards, and then just four minutes later, his shot was turned into his own net by Swansea's  Mike Van der Hoorn to give Ipswich the lead going into half-time.

With one key pass and two shots during the game, it may seem like Sears had a quiet game at the Liberty Stadium but with Town only having 27% possession and only three shots on target all game, they certainly made their chances count.

Sears will be hoping to continue his good form as Ipswich face QPR at home after the international break.
